Handmade gifts.

This was a baby Levi's jacket that I purchased online and hand embroidered my niece's name, Harper, on the back of for her first birthday. I really love how it turned out and can't wait for her to wear it! I was inspired to do this project from this blog post: Honestly WTF.

Since I now have two nieces and two nephews, I decided that I needed to make their Christmas presents this past year. The below picture is of the canvas backpack's I made them and hand embroidered their initial's on (Ben, Anna, Ollie & Harper). Each pack was made to fit and had a unique cute printed lining to match their personalities. :)

There is something so special about making a gift for someone. It is so hard to go out shopping and find the perfect thing... why not make it?! I love to do handmade gifts when I have the time ;) Both of these projects, I was inspired by the blog http://ohhappyday.com. She has so many cute ideas and party tips!
